Across the country, many companies are disbanding Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) departments and walking away from DEI policies. This move is not a retreat but a bold stand against the forced conformity and divisive quotas that have threatened to tear workplaces apart. Along with this shift comes a growing realization within the business community that true progress comes from fostering an environment where everyone is judged equally, without the divisive lens of DEI’s identity politics.

In stark contrast, while corporations are liberating themselves and us from the tyranny of enforced sameness, far-left progressives seek to bind us once more with the heavy chains of division. The local NEA and two woke Political Action Committees (PACs) have selected political candidates Gryder and Oelke to champion repressive DEI policies, aiming to drag the Francis Howell School District back into a past where equity replaced equality and the administration prioritized quotas and group identity over merit and hard work.

Instead of investing in teachers, Gryder and Oelke, along with their supporters, want a dedicated DEI Administrator, siphoning tax dollars away from crucial classroom needs while integrating DEI into every part of students and teachers’ school day. In an open letter last summer, the Francis Howell Forward PAC called for re-convening the FHSD “Equity Committee” that supported eliminating the Middle School Challenge Courses , advocated for illegally discriminating against students based on their group identity, and pledged to repeal the policy preventing school staff from keeping sexual discussion secrets from parents.

The time to act is NOW! Losing the majority means losing the chance to build a school district where everyone truly has an equal opportunity to thrive, unburdened by the weight of outdated and divisive mandates.
