Francis Howell last week announced via email the process that they will be using for replacing retiring CFO/COO Kevin Supple. See the text of this announcement below. For more information, see our article: Francis Howell to begin search to replace retiring COO Kevin Supple.
We were asked by the district to post this, and we requested that they:
- Include non-staff members on the interview team who have backgrounds in finance and business management.
- Prevent the public interview committee from being overloaded by staff members. We suggest that non-staff patrons comprise at least 2/3 of that committee.
The district’s Chief Human Resources Officer Lisa Simpkins responded that they had already invited a non-staff finance expert and that the parent/patron interview team would not include staff members (other than the facilitators) . We view this as a positive move.
What you can do:
- Use the form referenced below to provide them on input to selecting their interview teams.
- Email Kenda Herberts by March 25 to volunteer to serve on the patron interview panel.
Francis Howell School District – March 4th, 2022
The District is looking for its next Chief Financial/Operating Officer. Current COO Kevin Supple announced his retirement last month.
The CFO/COO serves as part of the Executive Cabinet leadership team and provides strategic vision and direction for the business and data processing functions of the District. Given the importance of this role to the financial success of the District, we have developed a multi-step hiring process with opportunities for staff, parents and taxpayers to be involved. We hope you will consider sharing the job posting, providing input on key traits and/or volunteering to serve on an interview committee.
