We have a very positive update to our article:  “Make Your Voices Heard: FHSD must equally enforce Code of Conduct“. The district sent out an email that clearly lays out the policies regarding student “Walk Outs”.  A copy of this email can be found by clicking here.

We cannot say whether your emails and calls to the district to ask them to equally enforce the student Code of Conduct played a part, but we sincerely want to thank those of you who made your voices heard.    Please take a minute to email Superintendent Dr. Roumpos ( kenneth.roumpos@fhsdschools.org ) and thank him for his clear and reasoned leadership on this issue.

Here’s what else you can do:

  • Please attend the Thursday, Jan 18th school board meeting to voice your concerns and support good governance of our schools –
See here for schedule and more information.
  • Please attend our Friday Jan 19th “Meet the Candidates” event
  • Find out more about our endorsed candidates: Adriana Kuhn and Sam Young
  • Contact us to find out more, volunteer in a school board campaign, or to let us know your concerns about our schools.

  • Most importantly: Get out and VOTE on April 2, 2024, and encourage your friends and neighbors to do the same!
